Accentuate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support project management and on-site teams throughout the construction stages. This role involves hands-on involvement in communication, planning, contract management, and documentation to ensure smooth project execution. Responsibilities will vary between field and office support based on project requirements and individual experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in developing project schedules, budgets, and site logistics plans.
- Set up and maintain project management tools such as Procore for streamlined communication and document tracking.
- Interpret and work with coordination drawings and assist with project setup.
- Review, log, and coordinate project documents including shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
- Maintain comprehensive project logs for daily reports, submittals, change orders, testing, inspections, and more.
- Distribute new drawings, submittals, and other essential project information to relevant team members.
- Manage project closeout documents, including warranties and as-built records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to meet project deadlines and maintain project schedules.
- Oversee testing and inspection logs, safety inspection records, and accident reports.
- Support bid preparation with the Project Estimator and perform material takeoffs as needed.
- Organize and prepare meeting documents, agendas, and minutes for key meetings, including OAC, subcontractor coordination, and safety meetings.
- Participate in company trainings and meetings to support professional development and organizational growth.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple project requirements with a proactive approach.
- Proficiency or experience in P6, Timberline Estimating, Procore, Revit, and Bluebeam is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with designers, engineers, and clients.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a passion for the construction industry are essential.
Travel Requirements:
This position may require regular travel to project sites and for project-related meetings.
